Privacy Policy
1. Privacy Policy of the Korean Waldorf School Association
The Korean Waldorf School Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”) values users’ personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act.
Through this Privacy Policy, the Association informs users of the types of personal information collected, the purposes of use, the retention period, and the measures taken to protect such information.
2. Categories of Personal Information Collected
The Association may collect the following personal information:

- Email Address
– Message
■ Information Collected Automatically

3. Purposes of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Association uses the personal information collected only for the following purposes:
– Responding to inquiries and providing consultation support
– Website operation and improvement
– Processing user requests
4. Retention Period of Personal Information
Personal information will be destroyed without delay once the purposes of collection and use have been fulfilled.
However, in the following cases, personal information may be retained for a certain period of time.
– Inquiry records: retained for up to one year and then deleted
– Where retention is required under applicable laws and regulations, personal information will be retained for the period prescribed by such laws and regulations.
5. Destruction of Personal Information
The Association destroys personal information without delay when the retention period has expired or when the purposes of processing have been fulfilled.
– Electronic files: permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery
– Paper documents: shredded or incinerated
6. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Association does not, in principle, disclose users’ personal information to third parties.
However, exceptions may apply in the following cases:
– Where prior consent has been obtained from the user
– Where required by law
7. Information on the Use of Cookies
The Association may use cookies to enhance user convenience.
Cookies are small data files used to store information needed for website operation.
Users may choose to disable or refuse cookies through their browser settings.
8. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing
To provide services smoothly, the Association may entrust certain personal information processing tasks to external service providers as follows:
– Website operation and data storage: Cafe24, the hosting service provider
– Inquiry receipt and management: WPForms, a WordPress plugin
– Email delivery and management: email service provider
When entering into outsourcing agreements, the Association manages and supervises its service providers to ensure the safe processing of personal information in accordance with applicable personal information protection laws and regulations.
9. Measures to Protect Personal Information
The Association takes the following measures to protect personal information:
– Limiting access privileges to authorized administrators
– Applying security plugins
– Use of SSL (HTTPS)
10. Rights of Users
Users may exercise the following rights regarding their personal information at any time:
– Access
– Correction
– Deletion
– Restriction of Processing
Users may exercise these rights by submitting a request to the email address below, and the Association will take action without delay.

This Privacy Policy shall take effect on May 1, 2026.
