The Korean Waldorf School Association is made up of committees that carry shared responsibilities in areas such as education, external cooperation, communications, finance, and accreditation support.
Working in close connection with one another, these committees help schools remain grounded in their educational work.

The Education Committee offers parent lectures twice a year to deepen understanding of Waldorf Education and school community life. It also organizes an annual upper school parent workshop, creating a space for parents of older students to reflect on and share their roles and responsibilities.
Through these activities, the committee helps parents build a deeper sense of connection and community, reaching beyond individual schools.
The External Relations Committee carries out a range of public outreach activities so that Waldorf Education may be recognized within society as having an equal place alongside public education. The committee studies relevant laws, including the Framework Act on Education, as well as local ordinances, and works to seek the rights that Waldorf schools should rightfully be guaranteed.
It also supports the establishment and revision of local ordinances in the regions where member schools are located, helping to ensure that the voices of the educational field are reflected within public systems.
The Communications Committee shares the work of the Association both within and beyond the Waldorf community.
Internally, it records and shares the ongoing life and stories of Waldorf Education through projects such as the Association journal and annual diary. Externally, it works to communicate the activities of the Association and the values of Waldorf Education to a wider public.
Through these efforts, the committee helps broaden social understanding of Waldorf Education and create new points of connection.
The Finance Committee develops and carries out mid- to long-term financial plans so that the Association can operate with stability and continue to grow.
As the role of the Association gradually expands, the committee considers the foundations needed for a more sustainable structure of operation, while also reviewing long-term tasks such as the possible establishment of staffed positions.
Lastly, the Accreditation Support Committee prepares for and carries out the Association’s role as a secondary accreditation body.
The committee works to clarify the educational standards and direction of Waldorf schools, and to establish the conditions and procedures for accreditation. It also supports each school in meeting teacher qualifications and strengthening its educational foundation.
Beyond relying solely on external training, the committee is building a mentoring structure within the Association, where teachers can learn from one another and grow together.

Each committee carries its own role, yet all work together toward a shared purpose: upholding the essence of Waldorf Education and supporting schools as they take root in society in a healthy and meaningful way.
